Trigonotis robusta

Description

Large, lax herbs often growing in large groups. Leaves spathulate, spathulate-oblong to oblong, petioles 0.5- 1.2 cm long, blade 1.5-4.5 by 0.4-0.7 cm, obliquely truncate at base, rounded or retuse at apex, with 3 nerves on either side of midrib and 2 basal ones, sparsely antrorse strigose in distal part above, with only few hairs, more numerous only along midrib below. Flowers solitary in axils of upper leaves. Stamens c. 1 mm long, the anthers 0.8 mm long.
