Small tree, c. 3 m, young shoots glabrous.
Leaves elliptic-oblong, to 22 by 8.5 cm, chartaceous, base broadly cuneate, apex shortly apiculate, apiculum obtuse, margin irregularly and indistinctly dentate, midrib prominent, principal lateral veins evident, arched, ascending, glabrous;
Fruit not seen.
