Description

Branchlets glabrous, sparsely puberulent or tomentose; Leaves: Inflorescence 6-25 cm long; Sepals ovate, 1.2-2.1 by 1.2-1.8 mm, 1-1.4 times as long as wide, apex rounded, sparsely puberulent. Stamens inserted at 1.3-2 mm from the base of the tube, which is 0.3-0.5 of tube length; Ovaries 0.9-1.4 mm long; Fruit 4.8-7.3 by 1.2-2 cm, glabrous, occasionally weakly lenticellate. Seeds 10.3-11.7 by 2.3-3.4 mm;

Ambon present, Aru present, Asia-Tropical: Maluku (Maluku present); New Guinea present
Malesia: Moluccas (Aru, Ambon), New Guinea.

Uses

The latex may be applied to sores.
