Description

Tree to 30 m tall, the young branches glabrous, the trunk lightly buttressed to 1 m. Leaves coriaceous, narrowly oblong, 5-8.5 by 1.8-3.2 cm, with long cuspidate acumen at apex, the tip 10-16 mm long, cuneate at base, glabrous on both surfaces; Stipules caducous (not seen). Inflorescence of axillary and terminal racemes, the rachis glabrous. Flowers seen only in fruiting specimens. Fruit ellipsoid, 2.3-3.5 by 1.3-1.5 cm, epicarp smooth, glabrous;
