Description

Small tree to 4 m; Leaves chartaceous, narrowly elliptic to elliptic, 3-6 by 1-3 cm, base attenuated, apex acute or shortly cuspidate, margin entire, glabrous, midrib well-defined below and with numerous fine lateral veins and reticulations; Fruit with a stout pedicel c. 18 mm;

Asia-Tropical, Idenburg R present, West New Guinea present
Malesia: West New Guinea (Idenburg R.).

Notes

Known only from the original two specimens collected by BRASS. The small, chartaceous, en-tire leaves are unmistakable among species with a disk-like male receptacle.
