Description
Erect, simple or branched, sometimes a bit flexuous herb, c. (2-) 4-28 cm high.
Leaves oblong to lanceolate, appressed, not amplexicaul, c. 1-3 by 0.2-1 mm, acute to acuminate.
Stamens 3, c. 0.3-0.5 mm;

Peninsula and Central part), Lesser Sunda Is. (Flores), West Java, Borneo (Sabah, W., S. & E. Kalimantan), Malaya (Kelantan, Pahang), and Central W. Sumatra.
Notes
Fresh plant pink, pale mauve, red or purple; flowers light brown, red or purple with white or yellowish anthers, fruit reddish blue, red-purple or pale pink (later orange-brown). The plant flowers and then dies; scarce.
In BUWALDA 6161 (from Ambon) and VAN ROYEN & SLEUMER 6268 (New Guinea: Mt Cycloop) the style does not clearly exceed the carpel.
