Description

Small treelet, young parts rusty pubescent. Leaves 1-foliolate. Inflorescences c. 3 cm, condensed, few-flowered, rusty pubescent; Flowers 4-merous, immature. Fruit c. 20 mm ø;

Distribution

Asia-Tropical: Philippines (Philippines present), Camarines present, Luzon present, Samar present
Malesia: Philippines: Luzon (Camarines), Samar, only 2 collections. .

Notes

From the collections available this species appears to be distinct from L. acuminatissima. However, it could well represent a precociously flowering 1-foliolate form of one of the pinnately leaved species, particularly of L. quadrifida. Further collections and field observations are required.
