Fruit obliquely ellipsoid, 3.5-4 mm long, 1.75-2 mm wide and 1.5 mm thick;

Africa: Seychelles (Seychelles present), Asia-Tropical: Borneo present; Jawa (Jawa present); Lesser Sunda Is. present; Malaya (Peninsular Malaysia present); Maluku (Maluku present); New Guinea present; Philippines (Philippines present); Sri Lanka (Sri Lanka present); Sumatera (Sumatera absent); Vietnam (Vietnam present), Australasia, Madagascar present, Mauritius present, New Caledonia present, Pacific: Fiji (Fiji present); Tonga (Tonga present), Persian Gulf present, Ryukyu Islands present, from the Red Sea as far south as Delagoa Bay present, southern coast of India present, the tropical part of the Indian Ocean and the western Pacific present, through Malesia far into the western Pacific and its marginal seas present, western Pacific present
The species is widely distributed in the tropical part of the Indian Ocean and the western Pacific. It occurs from the Red Sea as far south as Delagoa Bay, in Madagascar, Mauritius and the Seychelles, in the Persian Gulf, in Sri Lanka and the southern coast of India and it extends from there through Malesia far into the western Pacific and its marginal seas. In the western Pacific it is known from Vietnam, the Ryukyu Islands, New Caledonia, Fiji, the Tonga Islands and tropical Australia. In Malesia the species is widely distributed: Peninsular Malaysia, Java, Borneo, Philippines, Lesser Sunda Islands, Moluccas and New Guinea. No records are known from Sumatra.
