Description

Tree to 10 m tall, to 46 cm dbh. Bark grey or yellow, smooth; Branchlets glabrous, sparsely lenticellate, weakly winged. Leaves: Inflorescence with dichasial branching followed by cincinnate branches, 10.7-20 cm long with axes 7-16 cm long and branches 2-2.3 mm wide, densely puberulent; Sepals oblong, 2.3-3.7 by 1.4-2.2 mm, 1.6-1.75 times as long as wide, apex rounded to obtuse, ciliate, densely puberulent outside, glabrous inside. Stamens inserted 19-21 mm from corolla base which is c. 0.7 of corolla tube length in rehydrated flowers; Ovaries 0.9-1.5 mm high, densely pubescent on top or densely pubescent all over; Fruit sparsely puberulent, with a blunt hooked spur, 12-17 by 5.4-6 by 7-10 mm, spur 3.5-6 mm long.
