Perennial.
Leaves ⅓-½ as long as the stems, erect, rigid, very narrow, flat, acute, glabrous, scabrid at the top, greyish or glaucous, ½-⅔ mm wide;
Inflorescence simple or compound, loose, with 4-18 spikelets, 2-4 cm long.
