Fruits 1 per infructescence, broadly ellipsoid-obovoid, 3-4(-5) by 2.7-3(-4) cm, not flanged along the line of suture, with hairs 0.1-0.2 mm long;

Asia-Tropical: Borneo present (Sarawak present)

The subspecies is reminiscent of K. kinabaluensis from Sabah, the latter with a less stout habit and on the lower leaf surface scattered minute stellate scale-like hairs, the fruits generally smaller, and ridged.
