Archidendron glandulosum

Description

Sparsely branched shrub or small tree 1.2-2(-6) m high. Branchlets terete, often hollow, covered by small gland-like hairs. Leaves: Stipules linear-lanceolate, 2.5-4.7 by 0.2 cm, with glandular hairs and prominent longitudinal veins, persistent. Inflorescence terminal, minutely glandular hairy, consisting of clustered racemosely arranged racemes, the latter up to 7 cm, main axis up to 2 cm; Flowers pentamerous, bisexual. Stamens cream-white, up to 35 mm, tube slightly shorter than the corolla-tube. Ovary solitary, glabrous. Seeds black, ellipsoid, 1.2 by 7 by 5 mm.
