Optionally transferred to a segregate genus, Ochlopoa (Böhling & Scholz 2003: 58). For this and other members of Poa concerned, see Synonyms. P. annua subsp. pilantha is described from IoI and certainly more widespread in Greece, but distribution imperfectly known due to undercollection.
