Trigonotis pleiomera

Description

Creeping, much branched herbs growing solitary or in dense mats. Leaves usually seemingly distichous due to twisted petioles, petioles 1-3 mm long, blade elliptic, obovate, oblong or elliptic- to obovate-ob- long, 0.8-2 by 0.3-1 cm, tapering towards base, tips rounded or obtuse, apiculate, lateral nerves 3 or 4 on each side of midrib, sparsely appressed antrorse strigose along margins and on midrib below. Flowers solitary, extra-axillary; pedicels appressed antrorse strigose, 8-15 mm long. Stamens 1-1.5 mm long, anthers oblong- ovoid, 1 mm long.
