Description

Small to medium sized trees, 3-25 m tall. Leaves: Inflorescences pendulous, glabrous, ramiflorous or cauliflorous racemes, below leaves, 10-45 cm long with up to 40 flowers; Flowers with pedicels 4-27 mm long, usually articulate; Fruits ovoid, c. 4.5 by 2.3 by 2.1 cm, truncate and tapering at base. Seeds ovoid, 3.5 by 1.3 by 1.3 cm.

Asia-Tropical: Maluku (Maluku present); New Guinea present, Misool present, Rossel I present, SE Sulawesi present
Malesia: SE Sulawesi, Moluccas (Misool) to New Guinea and Rossel I.
