Description

Annual herb with taproot, glabrous, 50-150 cm high. Leaves petiolate, auriculate, 3-17 by 1-8 cm, lyrato-pinnate with 1-3 pairs of oblong-elliptic lateral lobes, 0.8-4 by 0.3-1.5 cm; Sepals elliptic, 1.5-1.8 mm long. Petals yellow, spathulate, 2-2.5 mm long. Stamens 6; Ovary cylindrical with a c. 0.3 mm long style. 5/7/-quae sausage-shaped, often curved, 12-17 by 1.5-2.7 mm; Seeds yellow brown, spheroid, finely colliculate and with prominent irregular warts around the margin, c. 1.2 mm long.
