Description
Tree to 30 m high.
Branchlets terete, brownish, distal parts densely puberulous by brown hairs.
Leaves:
Stipules and stipular glands not seen.
Inflorescences terminal, densely puberulous, consisting of pedunculate glomerules aggregated into panicles to 40 by 40 cm;
Flowers pentamerous, bisexual.
Stamens white, up to 20 mm, tube equalling the corolla-tube.
Ovary solitary, pilose, subsessile.
Seeds black, ovate-ellipsoid, c. 12 by 4 mm.
