Description

Erect shrub or treelet a few m high, glabrous except for the inflorescence. Inflorescence a terminal, compound, furfuraceous umbel, hemispherical, c. 10-12 cm ø; Stamens 3. Ovary 3-celled. Fruiting head 10-12 mm ø;

Distribution

Asia-Tropical: Philippines (Philippines present), Luzon present
Malesia: Philippines (Luzon).

Notes

Closely allied to 40. O. luzoniense and 27. O. pectinatum, but the combination of long- fringed petiolar crests, pubescent inflorescence branches, excessively bristly bracts and 3-merous flowers is distinctive.
