Taxonomy
Well-marked by a short-creeping rhizome, simply pinnate lamina with abaxially rounded axes and reduced upper pinnules, dimidiate free-veined pinnules with (except in reduced forms) broken sori, and monolete spores; the last character is not found in any other Malesian section. A group of rather obscure affinity, perhaps related to the next.
