Description

Loose rosettes. Leaves pinnate, up to 5 cm long, petiole up to 8 mm. Stipules membranous, hairy outside. Sepals triangular, 1.5-2 by 1.5 mm, indumentum as epicalyx. Petals broadly obovate, 2-3 mm long, yellow. Stamens 5, filaments 0.5 mm, anthers 0.5 mm.

Distribution

Asia-Tropical: New Guinea present (Irian Jaya present)
New Guinea, only seen from Irian Jaya.

Notes

Two of the three specimens seen were taken from mixed collections so the epithet seems to be quite appropriate.
