Placement status: name or taxon excluded (unspecific) (Absent but reported in error (Greuter & al. 1989: 70). Greek records refer to C. villosa. The genus Calicotome as accepted here is sometimes included into Cytisus at sectional rank (Cristofolini & Troìa 2006: 733-746).)
