Description
Tree, up to 35 m, 40 cm dbh.
Leaf-blade 2.6-7.5 by 0.7-2.6 cm, apex acuminate to cuspidate;
Inflorescences 2-5-flowered;
Sepals minutely ciliate, further glabrous;
Petals unequal, white, when dry orange-brown, faintly ciliate, the longest one 15-16 mm;
Stamens:
Ovary shortly stipitate, orange-brown, glabrous;
Fruit pear-shaped (to broadly ovoid?), up to 4 cm diam., strongly wrinkled when dry, shiny, brown;
Seeds more than 10, flattened-ovoid, c. 1 cm long;
Distribution
Asia-Tropical: Borneo present (Brunei present, Sarawak present)
Malesia: Borneo (Sarawak, Brunei).
