Leaves elliptic to narrowly elliptic, 7-12 by 2.5-4.5 cm, chartaceous, base cuneate, apex narrowly acuminate, entire or with a few small remote dentations in the upper half, the midrib and principal veins deeply immersed above, prominently raised below, the lateral veins arched and uniting within the margin, glabrous;
