Notes

Although now formally transferred from Pygeum to Prunus, this taxon — if it is one — has not become better known than in 1965, when I put it under the 'incompletely known species’, only flowers and flowerbuds being present on the two collections. There is a distinct likeness to Prunus grisea var. tomentosa.
