Description
Point of contact with host plant (roots?) not known.
Inflorescences spadix-like, unisexual, at first covered by the conical top parts of marginally cohering peltate bracts.
Flowers mixed with numerous hairs.
Distribution
Asia-Tropical: Malaya (Peninsular Malaysia present), Penang present
Monotypic. Malesia: Penang and Malay Peninsula. .
Notes
Undoubtedly belonging in Balanophoraceae-Helosidoideae.
