Malesia: N.E. Sumatra (Lingga Is.). Known from type collection only, in forest at 600 m.
Notes
The pubescence of the lower surface of this plant most nearly resembles that of M. teuscheri and M. arenicola; the latter are much smaller plants, growing apparently in a different kind of habitat.
