Leaves interruptedly imparipinnate.
Stipules large.
Inflorescences terminal, spike-like racemes.
Flowers rather small, 5-merous, bisexual.
Sepals persistent, connivent after anthesis.
Petals yellow, rarely white.
Stamens 5-numerous.
