Notes

Flora Graeca reported this species “in arvis Graeciae, tam sylvestris quam culta, frequens”. Most of the Greek records are old and may refer to plants naturalized from cultivation, but there is at least one modern collection (Mt Klokos, limestone screes at 1300 m, Strid 57446; ATH, G), which appears to represent truly native material.
