    Telekia speciosa is a mountain species of EC Europe and the Balkan Peninsula, extending through N Anatolia to Caucasus. In Greece it is confined to damp habitats in the mountains of the N mainland, growing with, among others, Cirsium appendiculatum, Doronicum austriacum and Epilobium angustifolium. It is a showy plant, frequently cultivated as an ornamental and sometimes naturalized outside its native range.A
