Nosema cochinchinense

Description

Erect herb, 30-50 cm, sparingly branched. Leaves chartaceous, oblong or narrowly oblong, 4-6 by 1-1.5 cm, both ends acute or obtuse, margin crenulate, sparsely villous on both surfaces; Inflorescence terminal, 6-8 cm long; Stamens in 2 pairs, the upper pair puberu-lent and appendaged at the base.

Notes

The JUNGHUHN specimens cited in the precursor from Java, were actually collected in the Batak Lands, N. Sumatra; they were described by PRAIN as N. capitatum var. javanica.
