Description

Climber or creeper to 5 m long; Leaves: Inflorescences elongate, variable, grouped into large leafy panicles, bracts minute. Fruit ripening green or yellow, yellowish striped, subglobose, c. 1 cm long; Seeds few, grey, ovoid, 5-6 by 3.5-4 by 2-2.5 mm.

East Java present, Idjen Plateau present, Malaysia present, South America present, Southern America: Paraguay (Paraguay present)
South America (Brazil, Paraguay); in Malaysia: East Java, Idjen Plateau, where introduced and running wild; 800-1000 m altitude; flowering and fruiting probably throughout the year.
