Ovary subglobose, longitudinally deeply 5-furrowed (carpels incompletely connate), densely hairy, 5-celled, usually only one fertile;
Seed with testa free from the endocarp;

Asia-Tropical: Borneo present; Maluku (Maluku present); Philippines (Philippines present); Sulawesi (Sulawesi present), W. New Guinea present
Monotypic. Malesia: Borneo, Philippines, Celebes, Moluccas, W. New Guinea.
Notes
KUNTZE (l.c.) changed the generic name Koordersiodendron into Koordersina because the composition of the former is very long ("nom. del. sesquipedale").
