Description
Tree c. 13 m tall.
internal hairs abundant, whitish.
Leaves spirally arranged;
stipules c. 1 cm long, yellow-brown subhirsute, caducous.
Distribution
Asia-Tropical: Borneo present (Sarawak present)
Taxonomy
2This species shows remarkable overall similarities to F. mollissima, a member of subsect. Eriosycea.
1The species shows affinities to F. bruneiensis from which it differs, e.g., in the smooth upper surface of the lamina, shorter petioles and stipules, and longer basal bracts.
