Amyema tetrapetala

Description

Glabrous except for young parts, inflorescence and ovary shortly brown-tomentose. Leaves opposite; lamina broadly lanceolate, mostly 10-15 cm long, 4-8 cm wide, attenuate at the base to a petiole c. 5 mm long, acuminate and acute at the apex, dull on both sides but slightly darker above; venation pinnate with the midrib and the main laterals visible above and raised below. Inflorescences at the nodes; a 6-flowered head of 2 sessile triads on a peduncle 3-6 mm long, subtended by 6 bracts c. 6 mm long.
