Amyema curranii

Description

Glabrous except for the inflorescences and flowers shortly tomentose. Leaves ternate or scattered ternate; lamina narrowly ovate, 5-18 by 1.5-5 cm, shortly cuneate from the rounded base to a petiole 5-18 mm long, shortly acuminate and acute at the apex, glossy above, dull below; venation pinnate with the midrib prominent below and the midrib and main laterals distinct above. Inflorescences at the nodes, pedunculate 18- to 40-rayed umbels of triads with the central flowers sessile or very shortly pedicellate and the lateral flowers pedicellate; peduncle 6-13 mm long, dilated at the apex; rays 3-4 mm long; pedicels of the central flowers 0-0.3 mm long, of the lateral flowers 0.5-1.5 mm long.

Malesia: Philippines (Luzon).

Notes

Similar to Amyema incarnatiflora, differing in its variably pedicellate 4-merous flowers.
