Asia-Tropical, S.W. present, excepting S. present
Malesia: Borneo (excepting S. and S.W.).

Notes

Collections from S.E. Borneo tend to have longer narrower leaves, often less coriaceous, than those from elsewhere; the species generally occurs on deeper, more fertile soils there. Nevertheless there is no consistent way in which these plants may be distinguished in field or herbarium.
