Description
Young vegetative parts densely powdery fulvous tomentose, fugaceous on leaf, subpersistent only on panicle, leaf bud and stipule.
Leaves 10-17 by 3.5-5.5 cm, coriaceous, narrowly oblong;
Stipule to 20 by 3.5 mm, narrowly oblong, subacute, caducous.
Panicle to 11 cm long, terminal, occasionally axillary, densely persistently fulvous tomentose, terete or angular;
Distribution
Asia-Tropical: Borneo present (Sarawak present), Kapuas valley present, S.W. Sabah present, except seasonal areas present
Malesia: Malaya (except seasonal areas), Borneo (Kapuas valley; Sarawak to S.W. Sabah).
