Description
Huge tree to 60 m tall.
Seed c. 11 by 6 mm, broadly acute at one upper corner and with a wing c. 20 by 11 mm at its widest at the other corner.

Asia-Tropical: Philippines (Philippines present); Sulawesi (Sulawesi present), Halmaheira present
Malesia: Philippines to Celebes and Halmaheira. .
Notes
Reports by foresters of 'different' trees in the southern parts of the Philippines may well apply to A. celebica which has been collected there. Most Philippine collections are of nondescript leaves and (rarely) immature cones.
