Description

Probably a climber. Branchlets weakly angled, sparsely lenticellate, glabrous or sparsely and minutely puberulent. Leaves in whorls of 3; Inflorescence axillary, with 1 or 2 internodes and unbranched side branches, robust, glabrous, 2-3 cm long; Sepals fleshy, fused into a 2-lipped tube, 2.2-2.6 mm long, not ciliate, glabrous. Stamens inserted at 3.5-4.5 mm from corolla base which is 0.56-0.6 of tube length; Ovaries c. 0.8 mm high, densely pubescent all over; Fruit stalks 2-2.7 mm long, 1 or 2 articles in each string, 0.8-1.7 mm between articles, with thin flesh, 10.4-19.5 by 7.5-12.5 mm, ellipsoid or cylindrical. Seeds c. 9.2 by 6.3 by 5.8 mm.
