Description
Forest emergent, 30-60 m tall, with a clear bole of 20-40 m and up to 2 m diam.
Leaves on older plants gradually becoming falcately curved forward and acicular.
Distribution
Asia-Tropical: New Guinea present, Australasia
There are two varieties, the type in Australia and the other in New Guinea.
