Notes
Bornean specimens are all smaller than those from the Malay Peninsula, the largest having pinnules to 70 by 15 mm; they also lack hairs on the upper surface of costules. In size, the Bornean specimens are nearer to C. trichophora, but the distribution of hairs is different.
In the Malay Peninsula has been found a specimen rather intermediate between C. trichodesma and C. alternans, both of which species were growing near it.
