Distribution

New World present, Northern America, SE. Asia present, Southern America: Peru (Peru present), W. Malesia present
About 35 spp., almost entirely in the New World from Mexico to Peru and Brazil and West Indies, a single species in SE. Asia, extending into W. Malesia.
