Description

Tree(let) up to 30 m high and 60 cm Ø. Bark white to grey-brown, smooth or shallowly fissured and/or papery flaky. Leaves oblanceolate to spathulate, or elliptic, 6-30(-61) by 2-8(-11) cm, up to by 14 cm on sapling; Flowers light yellow or yellowish green. Petals ovate, 1⅓-2 by l-l½ mm. Stamens ⅔-2mm; Panicles 4-29 cm long, scantly branched, bracnches up to 5 cm, sometimes with rather simple, short branches and seemingly racemose; Ovary subglobose, c. 1 mm Ø.
