Description

Shrub up to 5 m tall, with internodes distinctly different in length and leaves ± tufted at the end of branches. internal hairs sparse, minute. Leaves spirally arranged; stipules 0.5-1 cm long, glabrous (only ciliolate), caducous.

Distribution

Asia-Tropical: Philippines (Philippines present), Dumaran present, Luzon present, Palawan present
Philippines (Palawan, Dumaran, also Luzon?).

Morphology

The lamina is sometimes linear with up to 25 pairs of lateral veins and the basal pair not distinct.
