Dracontomelon costatum

Description

Tree up to 30(-35) m high and 60(-80) cm ø. Bark light brown, smooth. Leaves with 4-7 pairs of leaflets; Flowers light green or pale yellow. Petals ovate-oblong, 4-4½ by 1½-l¾ mm. Stamens 2-3 mm long; Panicles up to 35(-70) cm long, puberulous, glabrescent; Ovary oblong-ellipsoid, c. ½ the length of pistil, 1½ mm ø. Seed oblong, c. ⅔ cm long.
