Taxonomy
Var. robusta is a form similar to var. petiolaris but coarser in all aspects: leaves, flowers, and fruits are larger. It superficially resembles H. tuberculata, which differs in the generally shorter petioles, and the androecium with the anthers not strongly inflexed into the cavity.
