Taxonomy
2Can be distinguished from G. benguetense by the larger rhizome scales, frequently with a tuft of hairs, the narrow cells in the acumen of the scale, the hyaline margin at the base of the auricles, the papillate sori, the infrequent anastomoses of the marginal veinlets.
1Goniophlebium demersum has been confused with G. tomentellum, which is here included in G. subauriculatum.
