Description

Tree up to 12 m tall, rarely with up to 0.5 cm long axillary thorns, dioecious or sometimes monoecious. Leaves distichous; stipules 0.2-1 cm long, subglabrous or appressedly puberulous, subpersistent or caducous, terminal bud slender, ± aculeate when dry. flowers (1-)2-10; flowers numerous; stamens c. 2 mm long, anthers 0.6-0.8 mm long; ovary c. 1 mm long, style c. 1 mm long, stigmas 1.5-3 mm long;

Thailand, Indochina; in Malesia: Malay Peninsula, Borneo, Philippines (Mindanao, Leyte, Basilan, Cebu, Surigao, Bohol), Celebes.
