Asia-Temperate: Taiwan (Taiwan present), Asia-Tropical: India present, Japan present, N. Luzon present, N. Sumatra present, border areas of Malesia present, continental Asia present
About 10 spp., in continental Asia from India to Japan and Taiwan, 2 of which in border areas of Malesia, viz N. Sumatra and N. Luzon.

Proposed for conservation against Orthodon BTH. ex OLIV. (), but unnecessarily so.
