Description

Shrub, tree up to 10(-20?) m tall, often lianescent and/or hemi-epiphytic. Branchlets drying brown. internal hairs sparse to abundant, short to minute. Leaves distichous; stipules amplexicaul, 0.4-0.8 cm long, brown puberulous to subtomentose, caducous.

Asia-Tropical: Borneo present; Jawa (Jawa present); Malaya (Peninsular Malaysia present); Maluku (Maluku present); Philippines (Philippines present); Sumatera (Sumatera present), Balabac present, Ceram present, From Vietnam and Thailand to Malesia present, Palawan present
From Vietnam and Thailand to Malesia; in Malesia: Sumatra, Malay Peninsula, Java, Borneo, Philippines (Palawan, Balabac), Moluccas (Ceram).

Notes

A collection at L with New Guinea indicated as provenance. New Guinea is not included in the distribution paragraph because of doubt about its origin.
